What (areas of responsibility and accountability, duties, desired outcomes): · Recruit, schedule, test and interview qualified applicants for open positions. Develop creative and effective solutions to address hiring needs. · Administer the Company’s employee benefits programs. Research and negotiate with brokers and insurers to ensure the highest quality benefits for the Company’s employees at the least cost. · Effectively, expeditiously and fairly handle employee relations issues, consistent with all applicable labor laws and the Company’s values. Research employee problems and recommend, develop and implement solutions. · Keep abreast of all federal and state laws that affect human resources management. Ensure adherence to labor law and disseminate important legal changes/information to managers and supervisors. Update and maintain employee files (paper and electronic). Update and maintain all HR files (AAP compliance). · Drive organization development through performance management, training and development and process improvement. · Perform other duties as assigned/required. Ticket (desired experience, skill sets, education/training). Required (necessary): · Bachelor’s degree · Strong desire for and interest in recruiting · 3-5 years previous generalist and/or recruiting experience · Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Acrobat, and Outlook Desired (would like, but not required): · HR information system (Ceridian/Ultipro preferred) · Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) · PHR/ SPHR |
