While taking out the garbage one evening, his now foster Mom, heard pitiful meowing coming from the bushes in her butterfly garden. As she tried to coax the young cat to come to her, he backed further into the bushes but his cries got louder. He was very thin, his coat was scruffy and he was frightened and hungry. It took several weeks of feeding and talking softly but he finally allowed her to pet him. Over the next few months he became friendlier and was brought inside to live. Today, he is a couch potato and loves to sit in your lap. Toby Keith is about 7 yrs old, male, neutered, DMH (Orange and White). He gets along with nice dogs and cats.
