Tabby - Large - Adult - Male - Cat - Bartow
Description
Bartow is a very lucky kitten. A volunteer was traveling through Bartow, FL on May 2, 2008 when she noticed a very small kitten sitting in the median of Highway 60. (approx 5 weeks old at that time) He was extremely small, thin, overheated and very, very scared. The problem with trying to rescuethis little guy was that there were 18 wheelers driving very fast in both directions and before attempting to catch him, the road had to be clear of traffic for at least 30 seconds! It took lots of time and several tries but Bartow was finally caught in a net and whisked to the safety and air conditioning of her car. Today he has settled into his foster home and is thriving! He is a typical kitten and lots of fun to watch play and interact with the other animals. He enjoys relaxing in one of the many dog or cat beds throughout the house. He loves other cats and nice, friendly dogs. Screened porch is a PLUS as he is a bird, squirrel & lizard watcher! Adoption in PALM BEACH COUNTY only, adoption fee and home visit required. No shipping! He has been tested, vaccinated, NEUTERED and micro chipped! For more information about Stray No More, please visit our website at www.straynomore.org.
