Pit Bull Terrier - Medium - Young - Male - Dog - Bon Bon

BON BON.......Its been quite a while since I posted my need to find Bon Bon a foster home or rescue; he is the beautiful, sad little Pittie I pulled out of a kill-shelter in southern Indiana. He arrived in very bad condition--so bad that my vet thought that they had substituted another dog for the one in the picture. He has been recovering ever since at my vet's clinic, where I am boarding him, and he is gaining weight and looking so well--as of last Monday, he had regained 5 very needed pounds and his dandruff was almost gone. He is even better now, and is running around in the yard when they take him outside and playing. He is a very sweet and cooperative boy who obeys very readily and has never shown any aggression. He was a pet until his owners turned him into the ac/shelter becasue they were moving. We are in Madison, Wisc. Bon Bon loves squeaky toys to play with. He knows a lot of commands; sit, lay, stay, get in kennel, wait, and up. He takes his bath easily. DOB 5-16-07. Vacs current through the end of 09. Neutered at 10 wks. Frontline regularly Interceptor monthly Eats Pro Pac dry food and Iams wet food 2x day I have had Bon Bon's 4-D heartworm test redone and he was negative for all diseases; he has had all of his vaccinations again and has been wormed with Drontal and started on Interceptor.
